The Campaign
Created entirely by 86 the onions with no outside funding for materials or media space,
Project Hello was designed to build awareness and compassion for the homeless
community. The result is more than over 3,500 signs distributed throughout 28 countries,
a comprehensive website with over 700 photographs, 15 national PSAs, a traveling photo
exhibition, a book, worldwide media coverage in over 50 publications, and the 2004 Dove
Award--the highest accord for socially responsible advertising by The Advertising
Community Together (ACT).
